NO KA OI utilizes mechanical means in its pest elimination program. This includes a wide variety of methods and devices that will rapidly and effectively get rid of urban pests. --Caulking-- Gaps, cracks and other openings are sealed to keep pests out of the building. --Snap Traps-- Common snap traps and multiple catch traps are effective devices used to catch and kill rodents. --Sticky Traps-- Glue traps or sticky traps are effective in trapping a wide variety of pests including flies, cockroaches, mosquitoes, bugs and rodents. --Insect Light Traps-- To control flying insects, light traps are installed where appropriate. --Rodent Exclusion Techniques-- For rodent control, exclusion techniques using coarse steel wool and mesh stuffing are used to seal every possible access to the facility.
